Adding and Editing Patients

This article helps you get started adding patients onto FusiformSCAN

The FusiformSCAN app can be used without a subscription plan to track patients and images with your phone. Scanning functionality can only be accessed with a subscription plan.

Adding a Patient

1. Select the “+” icon at the bottom-right of the screen from either the “Home” or the “Patients” tab

2. Select the “Add Patient” button

3. Fill in all the necessary patient fields

  • Note: Only the First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth are required fields. These fields can be updated at a later time as well.

4. Select the “Save” button on the top-left of the screen, once all the patient information is filled out.

Once you've completed adding your patient, you can create an order for that patients using the Web portal (clinic.fusiform.co). See our guide on How to Add an Order while using FusiformSCAN for help with creating an order.


Editing a Patient

  1. Navigate to the “Home” or “Patients” tab

  2. Use the search bar to search for the patient you would like to update

  3. Select the card associated with the patient that you want to edit

  4. Select the “Edit” button

  5. Update any relevant patient information fields

  6. Select the “Save” button on the top-left of the screen

  7. If you want to add a scan or image to the selected patient, select the “+” button on the bottom-right

  8. Select either the “Add Scan” or “Add Image” buttons based on the action needed
