The FusiformSCAN app can be used without a subscription plan to track patients and add images with your phone. Scanning functionality can only be accessed with a subscription.
1. Select the “+” icon at the bottom-right of the screen from either the “Home” or the “Images” tab
2. Select the “Add Image” button
3. If you want to add an image to an existing patient
Use the search bar to search for the existing patient
Select the patient that you want to add a scan to
Select the “Take Image” button on the top-left of the screen
4. If you want to add a scan to a new patient
Fill in all the necessary patient fields. Note: Only the First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth are required fields. These fields can be updated at a later time as well.
Select the “Take Image” button on the top-left of the screen, once all the patient information is filled out.
5. Select the “Circle” button in the middle to take an image
The “switch” button can be selected to reverse the camera that is being used to capture the image
The “flash” icon can be selected to turn on flash while taking the image
6. Approve your image by selecting “Save Image”
If you need to re-take your image, select the “Discard” option
7. Rename your image
At default, the image name is your “firstname_lastname_uniquenumber”
8. Select the “Save Image” button to complete the image process
